Austin was enrolled in Vadis' 2019 School to Work program and exited with a job at a home improvement store, but his heart was set on working for Tractor Supply Co. He had previously interviewed with Tractor Supply Co, but it wasn't the right timing. While shopping with his family one day, he mentioned to the staff that he really wanted to work there. The staff member encouraged him to reapply. With the support of his Vadis team, Austin got a new interview and was hired part-time to run the Feed Store. His experience with horses and chickens on his family farm made him an excellent choice!
Recently Tractor Supply Co. recognized Austin with a customer service award for "Going the Country Mile" after a customer let them know how great Austin's service had been. Austin's dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm for the job make him a great employee! Congratulations Austin!
