Tyler doesn't want just any job; he wants a job that is the right fit for him. Here is a portion of a letter Vadis received from Tyler's mom recently: (shared with permission) "Our family is on the beginning of our journey with Vadis to help find meaningful employment for our adult son. So far, we’re extremely impressed with the careful attention they pay to who our son is and what he needs.
Josh likes to stay busy. So busy in fact, that he was working three part time jobs and participating in Special Olympic sports before COVID-19 hit our state. Two of his three jobs are at two different Papa John's locations.

While Vadis has many different programs supporting individuals with disabilities, it all began with employment services. From the very beginning, Vadis partnered with and supported businesses, sharing the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities and advocating for more inclusive workplace opportunities. Over the years, thousands of employers have hired individuals with disabilities through Vadis and each year Vadis looks forward to honoring the best of the best.
We are beyond grateful! Amazon surprised us and fulfilled tons of items on our Wishlist! So many boxes filled with essential goods for our Homeless Services Program! Backpacks, nomadic foods, hand/foot warmers, chapstick, toothbrushes, toothpaste, blankets, wool caps. . .
The Brewmaster’s Taproom is known for its great selection of local beers as well as being a family and dog friendly environment. Now The Brewmaster’s Taproom will also be recognized for their value in diversity, commitment to hiring people with developmental disabilities and providing leadership throughout their community. Vadis will present The Brewmaster’s Taproom the 2018 Inclusive Employer of the Year award on January 24th, 2019.
Michael never stopped believing in his dream. Vadis staff met Michael in 2015 through our Homeless Services program. Vadis supported him in securing an intial, minimum wage job, obtaining an apartment and furniture, and opening his very first bank account.
Vadis is proud to partner with Seattle Children's and Seattle Public Schools in the Project Search Program helping students with disabiities obtain valuable learning opportunities and great jobs! OLYMPIA –Six public and private employers were honored today for their exemplary work recruiting, hiring, retaining and promoting people with disabilities. Washington’s Governor’s Committee on Disability Issues & Employment (GCDE) and the Washington State Business Leadership Network organized the 25th Annual Governor’s Employer Awards ceremony to recognize state employers. It was held this year at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond.
